January 2017 - Upcoming Live Broadcast: On Friday, February 10, Erik Steighner and Cameron O'Connor will premiere the new version of 'Around the Throne the Thunder Rolls' for saxophone and classical guitar as part of the 8 pm broadcast of Northwest Focus Live! on 91.5 KingFM. December 2016 - Jordan was a guest of the Los Angeles Philharmonic's Associate Composer Program. He gave a lecture on his music and worked with some of the young composers in the program on their current chamber music projects.
November 2016 - Upcoming Performance: Three movements from 'Tender Buttons', for soprano and string quartet, will be performed at the USC Thornton School of Music on November 29, 2016. For more information, head to the performances page.
August 2016 - Upcoming Performance: Slow The Light will be performed by HOCKET as part of their upcoming concert at the USC Thornton School of Music on Thursday, September 15, 2016. For more information, head to the performances page.
July 2016 - Video Premiere: Tidewaters, a track from Jordan's Mornings, now has a music video. Many thanks to Will and Amanda Clifton for the beautiful visuals!
May 2016 - Jordan graduated with his D.M.A. in composition from the USC Thornton School of Music.
April 2016 - Recent Premiere: O Captain!, for mezzo-soprano, flute, and two classical guitars, was recently premiered by Lesley Baird, Stephanie Bell, Spencer Artwick, and Michael Gratovich.
February 2016 - Recent Premiere: HOCKET, the spectacular L.A.-based piano duo, premiered 'Slow The Light', which was written specifically for the group, at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. HOCKET will perform 'Slow The Light' next on their upcoming concert at California State University, Long Beach on March 23.
January 2016 - Video Premiere: 'Four Interludes', for solo piano, performed by the incomparable Thomas Kotcheff, produced in collaboration with Louis Ng. Watch the video at the link provided here.
